All India Women's Conference (AIWC) successfully completed all 20 programs as part of their work for the Women's Global Call for Climate Justice campaign re-grant partnership. These programs were conduced in different states of India and collected thousands of individual endorsements during their educational and awareness raising workshops. Prior to COP21, AIWC had conducted 6 programs with a focus on the UNFCCC and the Paris Agreement. The remaining workshops focused on the outcome of the Paris Agreement, the assessment of the Women and Gender Constituency and implementation. Several of the AIWC branches that participated in the workshops have started allied activities aimed at mitigation and adaptation. They are also closely working with local governments for getting gender responsive policies implemented.
